Surgery Updates
GP surgeries are currently getting some bad press in that GPs are sitting in surgeries with not a lot to do. Personally I would like to stress to all our patients that our Surgery team has worked extremely hard throughout the pandemic and continues to do so with the work load growing daily. Some of the issues are out of our control with regards to waiting times and result feedback and I would appreciate if patients were courteous towards our team.
We are promoting the use of econsult to help manage patient demand and we request that where possible this is used.
If you are not able to use econsult and you have an urgent need for an appointment then please contact the Surgery at 8am. If you do not need an urgent appointment then please call later on in the day. You will be asked if you want to see the doctor face to face or on the telephone.
Urgent requests we will always try to facilitate on the day.
Non urgent / routine requests will be 3 - 6 days.
Blood Tests - You can now book blood test appointments at our Surgery through the NHS app
Blood Results - If you have full access to medical records through the NHS app then you can view results. If you do not have full access then please contact the Surgery to arrange.
Everyone is doing their very best. Should you have any issues or concerns then please contact me directly.
We are grateful for your understanding.
